Today's news comes from a source I usually look up to for tech news comes from "The Verge" Basically Windows just debuted their new web browser Edge for Windows 10, Mac OS & Mobile. It's essentially just like Google Chrome, has a similar interface and is able to use Google Chrome Store (that's nifty). That means that it can use Window's & Chrome's large library of extensions through their respective stores. I like how Windows is partnering up with Google. It means more variety for consumers, who knows what else this could lead up to in the near future. If you want to learn how to get started with it, click the link below and follow the step by step instructions from Cameron Faulkner from the Verge. Next up comes something pretty exciting in the tech industry, wearable tech in the form of contact lenses. The following article comes from Julian Chokkattu from "Wired". He sat down with Mike Wiemer the co-founder and chief tech officer at "Mojo Vision" the company that's making these tech lenses. Their vision is for "Invisible Computing" imagine receiving a notification on your phone but instead of looking at your phone you jut have to look up to the right or left and see the notification or even a quick description of what the text or phone call is coming from. I think this could be a next step towards the next BIG thing. If they can get the technology advanced enough to where we can use apps from Google or the App store or maybe it's own genre of apps specifically for this type of technology, to me this is a glimpse to what could be a future like Cyberpunk 2077. Last bit of news for today's blog. Google Stadia. This one comes from the Eurogamer by Wesley Yin-Poole. Google has promised more than 10 Stadia timed-exclusives to be released by July 2020. A total of 120 games are supposed to be release in Google's streaming service by the end of 2020. In the coming few months support for "4K gaming on the web, further assistant functionality when playing on the web support for additional android phones and wireless game-play on the web through the Stadia Controller." Looks like Google has a lot of work ahead of them for the start of the new year. Google did say that they will be announcing three more games by the end of January that will be coming to Stadia Pro in February. A free version of Stadia is also set to launch in 2020. For the full article please see the link below. (https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-01-16-google-promises-more-than-10-stadia-timed-exclusives-by-july-2020).
