Batman: The World's Greatest Detective

Director Matt Reeves will be directing the new iteration of Batman. In fact, pre production started already in London and the first day of shooting was yesterday. Check out the Tweet from Matt Reeves that he posted yesterday of the scene clapperboard nestled on a leather couch.

Matt Reeves stated in an interview saying that you will find Batman in his more "detective-like role".

This will be a significant change to how the movies portrayed Batman. Tim Burton's view on the character was more based on the comic book aspect, with all the toys and gadgets he owns and more of a comical view of his crime fighting and rescue Gotham from destruction from these maniacs.

Christopher Nolan's approach was more realistic. He viewed Batman as an orphan overcoming his fears and then becoming his fear to save Gotham from sure destruction. But it was more real, the fighting scenes a bit more brute, and the vibe of the movies were more dark and serious. Especially for "The Dark Knight". It really captured the emotions of Bruce Wayne & Batman, and to me that was very satisfying to see it all play out, how Bruce & Batman overcame their obstacles.

Now with Matt Reeves version, hopefully we'll get to see more of his detective style. After all he is nicknamed "The World's Greatest Detective". Not only that but also take note that Batman is not only a Billionaire philanthropist but he's also a genius. He's able to embody two identities, he's a master on all types of fighting styles, he's come up with Batman and all of his gadgets that he's gotten from Lucius of course, but he tinkered with them to make those gadgets his own, to help him fight crime and to find the truth. I hope there's also a mystery to be solved, that'll make it all the more interesting to come along with Batman on this journey to find out what's happening, who's causing it and what's the final outcome. We'll know more in the coming months after filming is complete with further tweets and details of the movie from the director Matt Reeves.
