Star Wars: Secrets Within Episode III
Session III – Through the Rift
The secrets buried within the Velarous Vaults had changed everything.
Having discovered the real Shing-Guy-Jon imprisoned deep within the mountain, the group knew they could not remain in the vaults no longer. Whatever Darth Velarous had been planning reached far beyond the experiments and creatures hidden within those ancient corridors.
They needed to escape.
Yet just as the group prepared to leave, two familiar faces returned from the impossible.
Travern Morrow and D-Rek7 had survived.
The mysterious Force Glitch that had torn them from existence had hurled them backward through time. What they witnessed there revealed a startling truth: their paths had crossed long before any of them realized it.
They were not strangers brought together by chance.
Their journeys were connected by a shared purpose—to restore what had been lost and lay the foundations for the return of the Jedi Order.
But another truth was beginning to surface.
The Pawn
Savage Oppress had entered this conflict carrying a secret of his own.
He had been hired to assassinate Galdamir and his council.
His mission should have been simple. Find them, eliminate them, leave.
But Velarous had ensured that nothing would be simple.
Savage had unleashed the deadly Zegu Spores, only to become infected by them himself. As the spores spread through him, his memories fractured. His purpose became clouded, and the mission that had once driven him, slowly disappeared from his mind.
When fragments of those memories finally began to return, Savage was forced to confront an uncomfortable truth. He had never been in control. His mission, the spores, and perhaps even his arrival here had all served a greater purpose.
Savage Oppress had been a pawn in Velarous's game.
And now, for the first time, he knew it. He had a decision to make, complete the mission before him OR start this new journey with his newfound companions.... a decision that will alter the course of their story.
The Reaper's Ambush
The party finally emerged from the Velarous Vaults, hoping to leave the horrors of the mountain behind.
But someone had been waiting for them.
The Reaper & his Dune Troopers.
The mysterious commander who had so willingly allowed them to enter the mountain now stood in their path once again—only this time, there would be no invitation.
The trap was sprung.
The Reaper and his henchmen fired blasters on top the rolling desert hills ahead upon the group, forcing the exhausted heroes into a desperate battle outside the vaults.
There would be no retreat back into the mountain. This time, they stood their ground.
Steel clashed. Blasts tore through the air. The battle erupted across the barren landscape as the party fought desperately against The Reaper and his forces.
They could not defeat an army, they only needed to survive it.
Through sheer determination, the group broke through The Reaper's ambush and escaped his grasp, narrowly making their way back toward the village of Mos Reggal.
For the first time since entering the vaults, there was hope.
And waiting for them in Mos Reggal was someone who could finally provide answers.
The Wise Master
There they were met by Galdamir, the wise Jedi Master whose death Savage Oppress had once been sent to ensure.
At his side stood his young apprentice, Landon Reese.
Rather than greet the travelers as strangers, Galdamir revealed that their arrival was part of something much larger. He and Landon provided the group with crucial information about the path ahead and the role each of them would play in what was coming.
The scattered pieces were finally beginning to connect.Velarous, the experiments, Savage's mission, Travern and D-Rek7's disappearance, The mysterious Force Glitches, none of it appeared to be coincidence anymore.
Something was happening to their world. And somewhere beyond it, answers were waiting.
The Rift
Following Galdamir's guidance, the group traveled beyond the outer reaches of Mos Reggal.
There, far from the safety of the village, they found it. Reality itself had been torn open.
Before them hung a violent distortion in space—a shimmering wound suspended between worlds. Energy twisted around its edges as the landscape seemed to bend toward it.
Another Force Glitch. But this one had not disappeared. It remained open. A rift. No one could know where it led. Perhaps somewhere across the galaxy. Perhaps into another time. Or perhaps somewhere far beyond the boundaries of the world they understood.
Behind them stood Mos Reggal.
Ahead of them stood the unknown.
One by one, the companions stepped forward.
And together...they entered the rift.
